Meadow Lake is at an exciting point of growth and opportunity! As we eagerly anticipate the opening of the Meadow Lake Co-op Centre, City Council is initiating a community-wide conversation about the future of several key locations that are central to our city's identity and community life: the Civic Centre, the current City Hall, and the future development space behind the Co-op Centre.
This "Your Community Spaces" project page is your dedicated space to learn about the opportunities and decisions facing our city. We want to hear from you as we consider:
The future role of the Civic Centre once the Co-op Centre is operational.
The best long-term use for City Hall in meeting the evolving needs of our community and city administration.
The potential development of the space behind the Co-op Centre to enhance this area of our city.
City Council believes that these community spaces are vital to Meadow Lake's future, and your input is essential to ensuring we make the best choices together. What are your aspirations for these locations? What innovative ideas do you have for their use? What priorities should guide our decisions?
Get involved and make your voice heard! Explore the resources on this page, participate in surveys, contribute to discussion forums, and help us envision and build an even stronger, more vibrant Meadow Lake for generations to come. This is your opportunity to shape the future of your community spaces!

City Council received the results of the "Your Community Spaces" survey at the August 25 Regular Council Meeting. The following survey reports are available in the documents menu on this project page:
Work is underway to consolidate all of the information and feedback the City has collected about all three facilities. This includes the results of the Invitation for Proposals (IFP) for the previous City Hall, which closed on August 26. The IFP process was used to gauge the interest of other organizations in potentially purchasing and refurbishing the building. Administration will provide City Council with a full range of options for possible use cases for each space. Updates will be provided as City Council provides further direction and finalizes decisions on the uses of these sites.
